ABC News reports that parents of young children with disability were twice as likely to experience psychological distress and nearly twice as likely to report poor health. The Parenting Today survey covered more than 10,000 carers; its under-nine comparison included 600 parents of children with disability, and also found higher loneliness and parenting strain.
