Understanding these relationships is essential for assessing the scheme’s long-term sustainability and its role in supporting participation and independence.

The Queensland Family and Child Commission has published their Guide to Queensland’s Reportable Conduct Scheme. These comprehensive guidelines include detailed information about the scheme, including the definitions of reportable conduct, requirements to notify QFCC, and organisations’ obligations when investigating. If your organisation is required to comply with the scheme, or if you work with organisations that do, the guidelines are your starting point.

Queensland’s new child safeguarding law introducing Child Safe Standards has commenced. Changes to the Child Safe Organisations Act mean the Reportable Conduct Scheme has been brought forward and will now commence for all reporting entities on 1 July 2026.

NDIS worker screening clearance holders are now eligible to renew their clearance cards. To continue disability work without any interruptions, you must submit your valid renewal application before your existing clearance expires.

The NDIS Commission is changing how we check the identity of providers that use our portals. We are transitioning to using: an Australian Government Digital ID, using the myID app, and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM).

The NDIS Commission’s Regulatory Reform Roadmap shows activities planned to support the Commission’s reform priorities. It will put participants at the centre and prioritise groups most affected by reform.
